Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour ED call coverage for orthopedic hand cases.
- Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 4 cases, focusing on hand-related trauma and orthopedic emergencies.
- Collaborate with a dedicated support team, including RNs and OR techs, to ensure smooth surgical procedures and patient care.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery with a focus on Hand Surgery.
- South Carolina medical license and DEA certification (or willingness to obtain these in SC if not already licensed).
- Experience in a high-volume ED or trauma setting preferred.
